How do I cancel my subscription?

1. How many photos can I upload?
You can upload thousands of photos and create multiple photo albums.

2. How do I create and manage a new photo album?
To create a new custom photo album, go to your photo setup page in your control panel and click the 'Manage' button. You then enter a name and description for your album and clcik the 'Save Album' button. You can then scroll down to the album you want to add photos too and click the blue 'Edit Photos' button. On that page you can add photos and comments or reorganize and delete photos.

3. Can I get a shorter period than 12 months?
Yes, we offer a monthly option, cancel anytime.

4. I am still seeing an old photo after uploading a new one.
If you are seeing an old photo in the thumbnail image after uploading a new photo, then the problem may be a cache issue. The cache is your web browser’s memory and may remember your old photos even after you’ve uploaded a new one.
To fix, go to your actual website and view the page with the new photo you uploaded. It should appear when you view this page. If not, click to refresh once or twice for your browser to load the new image. If the new image appears your upload was successful.

The old thumbnail in your control panel will update once your browser’s cache has been deleted and the browser is restarted. It will eventually update, but if you want to reset the cache manually, you can follow the following steps for Internet Explorer.
  1. Click TOOLS on the top tool bar.
  2. Select INTERNET OPTIONS.
  3. Click DELETE FILES and then the OK button.
  4. Click the OK button at the bottom of the window to apply the change and close.
  5. Restart your browser and log back into your control panel.
5. How do I resize my photo to be smaller and upload faster?
Uploading a file which is not optimized can make your upload take a very long time or make your browser time out and stop. You can use any image editor to optimize your photo's, like Photoshop or others. You can also download a free application called 'IrfanView' to optimize your photos.

Instructions for using IrfanView
  1. Download and install IrfanView
  2. FILE > OPEN your image to optimize
  3. IMAGE > RESIZE/RESAMPLE
  4. Set the new size so that the largest number (either height or width) is 375 pixels. It will automatically update the smaller number in order to keep proportions.
  5. Set the DPI to 72
  6. Click OK

  7. Then, save it and you’re done:

  8. FILE > SAVE AS
  9. Select JPG - JPEG Files for the file type from the 'Save as type' menu at the bottom
  10. Type a new filename to save your file as
  11. You can set the quality at the highest on the options dialog box
  12. Click SAVE

Now just upload that new file to your website!
6.

How do I make my music smaller?
There is a 1mb limit for the file you can upload for the background music. This is to allow your website to load at a normal speed, files larger than this will stall a Net connection while trying to load your other data like pages, images and text. A visitor on dial-up could have to wait up to 20 minutes for your 1mb file to load, making your website unusable.

There are 2 options to make music files smaller:

  1. Use iTunes to import a file off CD at a low bitrate:

  2. a. Select PREFERENCES from Edit menu
    b. Select the IMPORTING tab at the top
    c. Import using MP3 Encoder
    d. SETTING should be CUSTOM
    e. Select a low Stereo Bit Rate like 56kbps or lower
    f. Click OK then OK again
    g. Import file off CD.
    h. If it is too large, you will have to repeat steps and use lower bit rate.
    or
Use audio editing software to fade out a song early to shrink file size.
7. My background music doesn't play
Internet Explorer is the only browser to support background music like this. If you are using Safari, Firefox or another, they may not be compatible.

Also, be sure to check your system volume, speaker volume if separate, any settings that may turn off webpage music ,or third party software. Firewalls and security software have been known to stop music files from loading on websites.
8. When will my website expire?
You can check your expiration date at any time on your 'Account Info' page in your control panel.

9. How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time in your personal control panel. Once you login, click the “Cancel Subscription” link on the left under “Quick Links”. Cancellations cannot be processed via e-mail, they have to be submitted through your control panel.
